He throws him in the fish tank and in a rubber ring pool to help him survive. Marge wants Homer to get rid of him by cooking him up. At the end of the episode Homer tells Marge that he is washing mud off Pinchy by placing him in a hot tub. Bart then walks into the kitchen and comments on the nice smell. Homer then puts two and two together and realizes that Pinchy has been cooked in the tub. The episode then concludes with Homer distraught at the dinner table, sobbing while eating Pinchy.
