Animal Information
|
Tea Biscuit was Queen Elizabeth I's horse.
History[edit]
When Spain started to attack England, the Queen tried to climb onto Tea Biscuit. But rather than standing still to be mounted, the horse jumped in the sea and started to swim away. It quickly drowned, weighed down by the armor it was wearing.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
Tea Biscuit is a pun on the name of champion horse Seabiscuit, who, most likely coincidentally, had a grandparent called Tea Biscuit.
