History[edit]
The Simpsons rented Love Story to watch together as a family. The movie opened with voiceover about Jenny, "What can you say about a 25-year-old girl who died?" (Bart joked, "I say bury her, before she starts to smell.") and then flashed back to Jenny Cavalleri and Oliver Barrett IV falling in love including a scene where she tearfully told him, "love means never having to say you're sorry."
The kids disliked the film with Lisa describing Jenny as "wooden and unpleasant,"
