Mrs. Krabappel cast Bart as the murder victim in Springfield Elementary School's production of the Lizzie Borden story, starring Martin Prince as Lizzie Borden.[1]

Lizzie Borden was a juror in Flanders the Devil's hand-picked Jury of the Damned. After evidence was presented showing that Marge owned Homer's soul, and thus it was not his to give away, Lizzie Borden told the court that the jury decided Marge owned his soul, not the Devil.[2]
