Howard K. Duff VIII is the former CEO of Duff Beer and the owner of the Duff Stadium and the Springfield Isotopes.
History[edit]
When Homer saw an advertisement for Blockoland, the Simpsons went there. When they left, a part of Lisa's Eiffel Tower was missing, so Homer returned to the park, retrieved the piece, and decided to help people with their problems. Homer then went to Moe's Tavern after a hard day of work, where Lenny mentioned that ever since Duff Beer had owned the stadium, the Springfield Isotopes had not won a game and he wanted a refund. Homer went to talk to Howard K. Duff VIII, the boss, and discovered that he was moving the team to Albuquerque. Homer tried to tell the news about this, but the room was replaced by a dancer.
Homer then went on a hunger strike to expose the truth, but no one believed him. When a group of people noticed Homer, Howard K. Duff used him as an attraction in the stadium. Hungry, Homer was offered a hot dog, and all the toppings were ones from Albuquerque. This revealed the truth to everyone, enraging the crowd. Howard attempted to lie his way out, but the crowd demanded the truth. He refused and ordered Duffman to remove Homer. However, Duffman turned against him and threw Howard out of the stadium.[1]
After Buck Mitchell played a terrible game, Howard K. Duff said that the Springfield Isotopes were "making a mockery out of Amerisnack.com troll-doll night." He then instructed Duffman to put on the Kiss Cam.[2]
Duff appeared as one of the Vultures on Vulture's Nest and was introduced on the show as "Malt Disney."[3]
At some point, Howard K. Duff resigned from being the CEO of Duff Beer, as a new CEO took over.[4]

Behind the Laughter[edit]
In "Old Yeller-Belly", Lisa erroneously referred to him as the Seventh.
Howard K. Duff no longer being the CEO of Duff Beer is referenced in a gallery of Duff Beer CEOs in "From Beer to Paternity". His picture is superseded by that of the woman at the board meeting, implying she is the current CEO of Duff Beer.
