History

When First Church of Springfield need some fund-raising ideas wanted Marge write to David Bowie again. Reverend Lovejoy told her he has done enough for them.[1]

When Lyle McCarthy trained Homer wanted he do a montage to David Bowie's "Heroes" and he let him do that.[2]

Mrs. Berrera's cat is named Bowie because it has different colored eyes, like David Bowie.[3]

Principal Skinner mentioned Bowie and his song "Changes" in his retirement speech. He also mentioned Bowie's alter-ego, Ziggy Stardust.[4]

David Bowie may have been reincarnated as a fly, although this could have been Lisa's imagination from meditating too much.[5]
