Dame Emma Thompson (born April 15, 1959) is a British actress and screenwriter. She will voice a British children's book author in the season 38 premiere "The Children's Book Job".

The original choice for Betty White's guest spot in "Missionary: Impossible" was Emma Thompson. However, they couldn't get her for the role as Thompson was pregnant at the time and couldn't fly.
