History

When making his case as to why the Simpson family should be allowed to stay in Springfield, Homer starts to say "I believe it was Sammy Hagar who said-" before he is silenced by Sideshow Mel throwing a bone at his head.

At the New Awareness Awards, Willie Nelson was trying to patch things up between Van Halen and Sammy Hagar as well as the Simpson family.

He was shown drinking on a beach and going on a bender. Later on, he was shown in jail delivering a monologue to King Toot and the members of Covercraft.

He escaped from jail when Chief Wiggum crashed into it with his new jetpack.
