Kevin Costner is an American actor and director.

History

He starred in and directed the film The Postman, which was poorly received. He appeared on the director's commentary apologizing for the film. He then came out of the TV and asked Lisa to buy him a sandwich. Lisa felt sorry for him.

When the Western craze spread to Springfield Elementary, Nelson dressed as Kevin Costner.

Marge said that her and Homer's happiness was about to unravel just like Kevin Costner's career because of The Postman.

Homer compared being taken to the Springfield Wall of Fame to Kevin Costner being taken to Waterworld.

During their radio program, Bart asked Nelson how school was. Nelson replied that it was a lot like a Kevin Costner movie: "long, serious, and full of old people who say boring things."
