The Fatberg was a monster made out of fat and grease.
History[edit]
The Fatberg was created in Springfield due to the buildup of fat and grease in the sewers. Chief Wiggum investigated a robbery at Lard Lad Donuts where the only thing that had been stolen was Grandma Slick's Pure Frying Lard. The Fatberg then attacked Wiggum, pulling him down the sink's drain and into the sewers. Lou was promoted to chief in his place and, after consulting with Moe who worked in the sewers, Lou decided to cancel the upcoming State Fair because of all the greasy food stalls. However, at the insistence of Homer and Bart Simpson from Simpson and Son Grease, it was decided that the fair would go on regardless, and Lou was fired and replaced by Eddie.
The Fatberg attacked the State Fair and started killing people while eating the grease. After it attacked Bart and sucked all the fat out of him, Homer realized that Lou and Moe were right and the fair shouldn't have gone on. To stop the Fatberg and get revenge for his dead son, Homer got the Texas Hat Smacker so they could hit the Fatberg with a giant hat. However, the device only put it on the Fatberg's head and it continued its rampage. It then ripped Moe apart and threw him away before Homer charged at it with a knife. The Fatberg ate Homer but couldn't handle him and died of a heart attack, despite not having a heart.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
A fatberg is a rock-like mass of waste matter that is formed in sewers from flushed non-biodegradable combined with fat, oil, and grease.
