Claudia was a giant snail who was found mutated in the tunnels beneath the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. She and the other snails were used to make Escarbro products.
History[edit]
When Gary Chalmers was cleaning the tunnels beneath the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, he was attacked by giant snails. When he went home, he found himself covered in snail slime, which Shauna told him was a useful beauty product. Chalmers then went to Mr. Burns with a proposal to start a new skincare brand using the slime. Burns moved some of his Plant workers to look after the snails, including Lenny, who named one of the snails Claudia. Lenny fed Claudia romaine and implied that he and Claudia had previously had a falling out.
Claudia died when Homer, Lenny, and Carl fed the snails Chippos and Duff Beer.
