Seymour Skinner was a layabout playboy and the son of Agnes Skinner.
History[edit]
Seymour Skinner went to Ditherton College where he studied statistics. He was also best friends with Gary Chalmers.
While Marge Bouvier was working on her latest mark, Luann Van Houten, she overheard Agnes Skinner talking to Luann about her son. Agnes said that she would give a suitcase full of simoleons to anyone who brought Seymour back home, which piqued Marge's interest. Later, Marge approached Agnes and acted like she knew her and was an old friend of Seymour's. Agnes took Marge back to her house and told her about Seymour, saying that he had run off to Italy to become an artist rather than take over the family prune factory. Agnes then asked Marge to go to Italy and bring Seymour back, offering to pay for the whole trip.
Marge arrived in Bella Truffa and found Seymour at the beach. She pretended to be an old college acquaintance of his from Ditherton. She struggled a bit to get the story straight, since Ditherton was an all-male college and the teacher she claimed to have in common with him was a private tutor, but he eventually believed her. Homer Simpsley then showed up, who was a friend of Seymour's. Homer immediately became suspicious of Marge and was upset when Seymour invited Marge back to his house. While there, Marge saw all the paintings of Homer that Seymour had painted.
Marge began spending time with both Seymour and Homer in an attempt to get close to Seymour to convince him to go home. When Homer wanted to get Marge kicked out, Marge decided to become Seymour's muse instead of Homer. She made herself look more appealing to Seymour, and he immediately wanted to paint her. Two months later, the three of them were still living together, but Marge wanted to get Homer to move out. While she and Seymour were spending time together, Homer took Seymour's laundry back to the villa. He then put on Seymour's clothes and pretended to make out with Seymour while wearing them. Seeing this, Seymour told Homer to leave his villa. Homer picked up a bust to hit Seymour with, but couldn't go through with it and dropped it. Seymour then slipped on a rag and injured himself in a slapstick manner until he fell down the stairs and seemingly died. Marge walked in on Homer over his body, and the two of them decided to have Homer pretend to be Seymour so they could have a lavish lifestyle together. Seymour started to come to, but Homer and Marge suffocated him to death before dumping his body in a trunk in the ocean.
Some time later, Seymour's body was freed from the trunk by an eel. However, due to the time spent underwater, the corpse had become bloated and was mistaken for that of Homer Simpsley instead. Not knowing about her son's death, when she heard that he had gotten married, Agnes died of shock and left everything in her will to Seymour.
