Bart and Lisa were trying to convince Krusty's father Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky to end their estrangement. After several failed attempts, he finally broke up and agreed when he was shocked to learn the quote which had so move him was from Sammy Davis, Jr.'s memoir "Yes I Can," an entertainer whohad converted to Judaism.
