Fletcher Christian was the leader of the mutineers on HMS Bounty against William Bligh. He appeared in a story told by Bart.

History[edit]

Whilst the Bounty was still in England, Fletcher Christian pointed out to William Bligh that Admiral Horatio Nelson was sending him a message. During the journey, Christian was just as badly mistreated as the rest of the ship's crew. Eventually, the Bounty arrived at Tahiti and the entire crew had a good time there. When they left, the crew quickly became tired of Bligh and wanted to return to Tahiti.

When Bligh made the crew sing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat", they had enough and mutinied. They forced Bligh and Willie onto a rowboat and sent them on their way. Christian then removed the steering wheel, calling it "evidence of the previous regime". The crew then lost control of the Bounty and ended up at Antarctica.

Many years later, the crew of the Bounty all died and got cursed to become skeletons. The Bounty came across the wreck of the Neptune. Christian asked if the survivors knew where Tahiti was, before they continued on their way.[1]

Milhouse, dressed up as Fletcher Christian, asks Lisa if she ever saw Marlon Brando in Mutiny on the Bounty.[2]
