Lord Macbeth is the lead character in the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare loosely based on a real Scottish king who died in 1057 A.D.

History[edit]

Marge told a story about the local Springfield production of the play in Springfield where Marge's own murderous ambition for her husband to be the lead mimicked Lady Macbeth.

Sideshow Mel was first cast in the role of Macbeth. However, Marge wanted Homer to have the lead role, since he was only playing a tree in the play. Marge convinced Homer to kill Sideshow Mel so that Homer could take on the role of Macbeth. After Homer beat Mel to death with his own bone, Homer got the part.

In the play, Homer kept forgetting his lines as Macbeth. This led to him getting terrible reviews. Eventually, Marge convinced Homer to kill the rest of the cast so he would be the best cast member. Homer gave his performance as Macbeth to an empty audience and impressed Marge.
