Tracy Letts is an American actor, playwright, and screenwriter.
History[edit]
Lisa met Tracy Letts during a showing of his play Roach. When the father was abusing the character of Gregor Samsa, Lisa stepped in to stop it from happening. Letts revealed that he had written the play and also played the enormous shoe that steps on the cockroach in act three. He then told Lisa that she was the first person to interfere with the play and save the cockroach, which proved that she was one of the most sensitive and artistically attuned people he had ever met. Letts then made the audience give Lisa a round of applause.
Backstage, Julian told Letts that Lisa would be a good fit for the Horace Frick Academy. Letts revealed that he was on the board of trustees for the school and told her he could guarantee her a place, but she would need to pay $84,000 a year to attend. Letts then told Lisa that it wasn't his problem how she paid for it and walked off to record a new play idea on his phone.
After Lisa received a bursary check from Lacey Van Aster for the school, she was taken back to Julian, Katya, and Lars' loft, where she was going to sleep. However, she saw a photo of her new friends with Martin Prince on the wall. Julian, the singer of The Inhuman Capotes, and Tracy Letts then explained to her that every year, they used a child to scam money out of Lacey Van Aster, who always addressed the checks to them rather than the child. Lisa then grabbed the check and ran away with it, with the artists and a mob chasing after her.
As Lisa hid in an alley, she realized that she was too tired to keep going, but then drank the Apple Zoom juice box that Marge had given her. She then insulted Tracy Letts and the other artists and ran away, hiding in a deflated balloon of Joan Didion. Lisa accidentally hit the inflate button for the balloon and became stuck on top of it as the artists confronted her. After Julian insulted Katya, Katya cut the rope and let Lisa go free, allowing her to float back to Springfield.
