Mopey Mary was a girl who threw herself down a well. She went on to kill people years later.

History

In 1932, Mary was given a Valentine's box with rabbit poo in. She was so distraught that she threw herself down the old school well. She was down the well for seven days before anyone bothered to look for her. Groundskeeper Willie saw her down the well, but it was the end of his shift, so he sealed it off and went away. After this, Mopey Mary started to kill people who watched a cursed video seven days after they watched it.

Years later, the video got shared on TikTok and everyone who attended Sherri and Terri's party watched it, except Bart. Lisa and Bart then decided to look into the video. Lisa decided to summon Mopey Mary herself and watched the video. When the phone call came in, Lisa told them that she wanted to be killed right then, or not at all. Mopey Mary then crawled through the television screen and Lisa gave her a Valentine's card. Lisa then told Mopey Mary that she wanted to be friends with her.

Lisa and Mopey Mary started to hang out. However, when Lisa referred to Mary as her best friend, Mopey Mary didn't like how quickly Lisa had connected with her and threw herself down the well again.

Behind the Laughter

Mopey Mary is a parody of Sadako Yamamura from the novel Ring and Samara Morgan from the film The Ring.
