Irving was the late brother of the old Jewish man.
History[edit]
His brother was dressed as him at After An actual witch entered the costume contest at Springfield's Semi-Annual Halloween Party and won. Before relieving she was not wearing a costume, Mayor Quimby asked who could it be under the mask mentioning "the Old Jewish man" as a possibility. He piped up from the crowd how he was there dressed up as his dead brother Irving.
