Bart and Milhouse were listening to The Essential Miles Davis, which had a picture of Miles Davis on the front.[1]

When Sherri and Terri saw at Lisa has a myPod she starting to play the song "Moon Dreams" from Birth of the Cool for them. They didn't like the song so Lisa stared an myTunes exclusive episode of Itchy & Scratchy for them instead she had.[2]

She told him to start by listening to John Coltrane, move to a little Dave Brubeck for fun and then finish with the master, Mr. Miles Davis. He told her he didn't want to get tips about jazz, to which she said she had no time to teach him about other genres as she must study.[3]
