Clara Peller was an American manicurist and actress.

History

Peller appears in the arcade game Rocky III vs. Clara Peller, found at Captain Blip's Zapateria. Player 1 is Rocky Balboa, while player 2 is Clara Peller. The two characters move back and forth inside a boxing ring while continuously spouting the same bits of dialogue, with Rocky saying "You ain't so bad", and Clara Peller asking "Where's the beef?"

Behind the Laughter

Clara Peller (1902-1987) was best known for delivering the "Where's the beef?" catchphrase in the eponymous mid-1980s advertising campaign by Wendy's.
