Louis Toot
|
Animal Information
|
Louis "Mr. Teeny" Toot, also known as Joseph Teeny, and know to his mother as Louise,[2] is Krusty's chain-smoking trained monkey.
Biography
Krusty has repeatedly made statements implying that there are several Mr. Teenys.[3][4][5] For example, he claimed that he missed the third Mr. Teeny and the current one couldn't hold a candle to him. Therefore, the following biographical details may refer to different Teenys.
Mr. Teeny is an immigrant from Brazil, born to Toot-Toot. His uncle was former head monkey at the Brazilian ministry of tourism. After Krusty went broke, Teeny was briefly deported back to Brazil, but has since returned.
After receiving a dishonorable discharge from the space program, he signed an agreement with Krusty the Clown to be his trained animal act and personal valet for life.[6] In this capacity, he has been seen as Krusty's driver, accountant, and butler, as well as his usual act performing "monkey business" in Krusty's show. In return, he is allowed to wear a little hat and pink bow tie (which he can tie himself) and smoke cigars. Despite this, he often seems depressed off-stage.
Like Krusty, he is a heavy smoker. He takes great pride in having caused smoking among lower primates to become popular, and even received the "Smoking Chimp of the Year" award, replacing the late Ook-Ook, the Lip Cancer Chimp. A pet peeve of Teeny's is having to sign autographs for people who mistake him for Ook-Ook. He enjoys double dating with Krusty.[6]
He served as a writer of the host's material for The Good Guy Awards, but quit after being insulted on stage by the then-host Krusty.[7]
Krusty has implied that if he can't find a human willing to donate a lung when he gets cancer, he's planning on harvesting one from Mr. Teeny.

Trivia
- In addition to his usual attire, Teeny has also been seen in a tuxedo and gold encrusted thong.
- In the third part of the anthology comic Dr. Nick @ Night, it is made apparent that Mr. Teeny is a girl, though many facts contradict this. Though considering the fact there have been many Mr. Teeny's one of them could have been female.
- Despite being referred to as a monkey, neither Mr. Teeny or his mother have a tail, suggesting that he is an ape.
