Snowball II is the Simpson family's second cat. Snowball II was named after Snowball I. Though Snowball I had white fur, which obviously inspired her name, Snowball II had black fur and greenish/yellow eyes.

Snowball I[edit]

The original Snowball died and Lisa got a new cat and named her Snowball II. Her name is slightly ironic because she is black unlike the original Snowball or an actual snowball that is white.

General[edit]

Snowball II once pulled Homer out of a burning treehouse built by the Amish after Santa's Little Helper ran away. She has also tried desperately to get attention. When Santa's Little Helper had puppies she was scared by them.

The cat later became overweight after abandoning the Simpsons for brief periods to visit a different family. At the other family's house, she was fed, taught tricks and given the name "Smokey".^[2]

Relationship with Santa's Little Helper[edit]

Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper have always been shown as having a good relationship; usually they are seen sleeping near each other.

Snowball II once fell in love with Scratchy. Once when Santa's Little Helper chased her into a transport device their DNA combined and Santa's Little Helper came out with two heads while Snowball II came out with two butts.^{[citation needed]}

Snowball II died after getting hit by Dr. Hibbert's car. She was replaced by multiple cats until Lisa got one that looked exactly like Snowball II, Snowball V.^[3]

Lisa found Snowball pawing at a secret door in the house. She followed him then Snowball started speaking to her. Snowball started talking about how the cat was the symbol of intelligence before getting distracted by the light of Lisa's flashlight. Snowball then showed Lisa to her other family, who had buttons for eyes. Later, Snowball took Bart to the other family, and Lisa revealed to Bart that Snowball could talk. Later, he told Homer that he had lost his family, and that he could speak on the non-button side, he just didn't like to as it made Santa's Little Helper feel inferior.^[1]
