The Supercat of Springfield! is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #6.

Plot[edit]

While leaving the Nuclear Power Plant, a plutonium rod gets caught in Homer's clothes. He throws it out of the car while driving home and Snowball II swallows it. A car full of criminals crashes into Snowball during a police chase, leaving her unscathed but the car badly damaged. Later on the news, the Simpson family see a report on a new "supercat". When Snowball hypnotizes Homer and starts to levitate, Bart and Lisa realize she is the supercat. The kids make superhero identities for themselves and Snowball. After Snowball thwarts various crimes and starts taking autographs, she, Bart and Lisa are kidnapped by Doctor Colossus. Colossus traps Bart and Lisa and explains that he plans to use Snowball to power a giant robot, the Destructo-Kat 3000. Snowball vomits on him, expelling the plutonium rod. She escapes with Bart and Lisa and Colossus is arrested.
