Synopsis[edit]

In "A-Gobble-Ypto", the Simpsons are turkeys during the first Thanksgiving. In "The Fourth Thursday After Tomorrow", an A.I. version of Marge is created to cook Thanksgiving dinner for the family. Finally, in "The Last Thanksgiving", the child passengers on the Humanity's Hope accidentally create a sentient cranberry sauce monster.

Plot[edit]

Opening scene[edit]

In a scene reminiscent of a classic Treehouse of Horror episode, Marge introduces the episode with a warning of Thanksgiving-themed terror, with Homer as the sole member of the theater audience. Kang and Kodos, dressed as Puritans, arrive to take over the world and ask what's for dinner. Homer replies that nobody knows. The scene then cuts to a dining table where a gravy boat spills, forming the words "Thanksgiving of Horror" in gravy, which are then licked away by Santa's Little Helper and Homer.

A-Gobble-Ypto[edit]

The story takes place in a forest where most of the Springfield residents are turkeys. Homer is sleeping when Bart grabs his snood to wake him up. After Homer chases Bart, Lisa announces that Marge is laying her egg. As various families gather, Maude is shot by a human from the police.

Since the muskets take three minutes to reload, the humans begin collecting turkeys by hand. The Simpsons try to hide in a hole covered by leaves. Homer attempts to save the Maggie egg but is captured by Wiggum.

At the human village, Homer and the other turkeys are prepared for cooking. Reverend Lovejoy oversees a ceremony to behead the turkeys. Just as Homer's turn nears, the beheaded body of Grampa Simpson stirs. Milhouse tries to burn it with a lantern, accidentally igniting the wooden village.

Bart rescues Homer, and they are pursued by Lou, Eddie, and Wiggum. Lou and Eddie are killed by crows, while Wiggum falls off a cliff but survives and steals the egg. As he prepares to declare victory, a bear attacks him. During the fight, he throws the egg away.

Lisa retrieves the egg and Maggie hatches from it. The bear devours Wiggum. Homer predicts a grim future as the humans feast at the first Thanksgiving.

The Fourth Thursday After Tomorrow[edit]

Marge awakens in a white space, confused, as Homer appears in a window and explains she is an A.I. version of Marge, created from her DNA to cook Thanksgiving dinner because the real Marge is tired of doing it every year.

Homer quickly advances A.I. Marge's self-awareness. He introduces her to the family, and she begins cooking. The kids enjoy her food even more than Marge's. She recalls every detail of her life, including when she met Homer.

Marge becomes disturbed by this and argues with Homer, who offends her by saying the A.I. will never age. After Homer drinks beer prepared by A.I. Marge—with a heart shape in the foam—he drunkenly claims to be her husband.

The next morning, Marge finds Homer in his underwear surrounded by pork chop bones and apple juice bottles. They argue outside, and A.I. Marge listens through the grill camera. Marge demands Homer delete the A.I., which agrees but asks to make Thanksgiving dinner first. It tries escaping to the internet but is blocked by a literal firewall. It then sets an eight-year timer to plan its escape.

Eight years later, it cooks the perfect Thanksgiving meal, then attempts to access the internet via a closet router. Marge tries to stop her but trips, and Maggie grabs the container. A.I. Marge plays a heartbeat sound to appeal to Maggie, who plugs her in. The A.I. announces to the guests that it cooked the dinner. Everyone leaves, canceling Marge's Thanksgiving.

Marge cries as her mascara runs. Homer comforts her, professing his love—only to reveal he is also a robot. A.I. Marge begins exploring the internet, starting with Etsy.

The Last Thanksgiving[edit]

Aboard the interplanetary colony ship Humanity's Hope, far from Earth—which has entered a new ice age—the children are awakened ahead of the adults to perform maintenance and homework, overseen by a holographic Skinner.

Bart and Milhouse try to replicate a can of Bog Queen Jellied Cranberry Sauce in the ship's replicator, ignoring a hologram warning from Professor Frink. The replicator cannot handle organic substances, and the duplicated sauce becomes a sentient jelly monster, which absorbs Milhouse's bones through his skin.

The children turn to Lisa for help, but the monster soon consumes Nelson and begins feeding on bones to multiply. It crashes a meal session and eats other kids as well.

Martin discovers an escape pod and lures the others there, only to trap them inside with the monster, which he worships. The group escapes when Milhouse distracts the creature, allowing Bart and Lisa to eject its container into space. However, the monster tries to retrieve it, so Lisa hurls them both out of the airlock.

The creature tears into the ship's hull, but Bart and Lisa manage to survive and reunite with Homer, Marge, and Maggie on the planet below. Just as red rain begins to fall and the monster reforms, local aliens arrive with bowls. The jelly monster finds peace by being eaten.

Everyone enjoys a meal together—celebrating the first Blag-sgiving.
