Plot[edit]
At The Overpriced World of Angelica Button park, the Simpson family is stopped by a person dressed as Headmaster Greystash, asking them to try the "categorize cap" to see which school of magic most suits him and Homer is a Grizzledum, that hate Pufflesnuffs, and Homer engages in a fight with them, being then chased. Marge decides to check on Grampa and Maggie at home, then they get on the Cauldrons of Chaos ride. After Bart starts spinning the cups wildly to convince Homer to spend money at the gift shop, he presses the emergency button and gets dropped at the Gift Shoppe.
After spending money at it, they get back home, where they find Grandpa is holding Snowball instead of Maggie in his arms, but luckily Ned knocks on the door with her, and they mention they haven't baptized her. Ned has too many children to be a godfather of, and declines their request to be Maggie's. Marge is tormented over the prospective of her going to Hell due to not being baptized and even has a nightmare of the Devil bringing her down, with Bart being there too, with Milhouse as a second head.
Marge then forces Homer to go search for a godfather for her. Homer first goes to Moe's where he finds Lenny, Carl, Moe and Barney unfit, then to the Police Station, where with how Wiggum raised Ralph he crosses him out immediately, but when Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy drop a piano on them, Fat Tony saves them, saying the Blessed Mother saved them.
Seeing him being religious too, he offers him to be a godfather, although reluctantly, to become godfather to her. On bringing the news to Marge she gets angry because of Tony's past, but he knocks on the door, gifting them a Ferrari Protect-a-Rossa for Maggie, to substitute the obsolete one they have, and a new Luxus SUV, as well as offering more stuff for her in the future.
At the First Church of Springfield, the baptism happens, with Selma as the godmother. At Luigi's, the act of Tony towards Maggie teaching her about religion convinces Marge more on it. Legs and Louie become babysitters for her, while Maggie starts to act like a boss herself. Johnny Tightlips starts seeing a change in Tony as he keeps holding Maggie more and more and he starts thinking of something to do about it with Don Castellaneta and others.
Tony makes it so Maggie could go to the Preschool for the Performing Arts but Tony forces them to go to Sunday church and they start thinking of backing up. Homer however can't do it and Tony invites them to Itchy & Scratchy's Christmas on Ice. At the Springfield Mall, Tony opens a new shop, the Bambino Depot, and Johnny, Louie and Legs have seen enough and plan on acting on it.
At the preschool, Marge start seeing how she started to act and imagines Maggie starting a fire in a changing room with a guy inside tied to a chair, and asks Tony to get away from her, but Tony proposes to Homer to give him one more day to prove he's out of the bad business.
At the Springfield Sports Arena, the Christmas on Ice is being prepared, and many mafia guys are hiding guns everywhere. Tony bought the whole arena for Maggie, and that means no witnesses, so Marge proposes to become his mama instead of him being the godfather but he refuses.
However, when Itchy reveals himself to be Johnny betraying Tony, Tony acts on him, beating him up with the gun, and seeing Maggie's response to him getting back to mafia business, he steps back as a godfather, after changing her diaper one last time, with Louie and Legs burying it again afterwards.
