When the Simpsons went to Bookaccino's, Marge saw Esme Delacroix there. She was reading her book, To Kiss a Scoundrel to various people. Inspired by her, Marge decided to start writing a book herself. Later, Marge sent her book, The Harpooned Heart, to Esme to get her feedback on.
