Jeremy Freedman, also known as Squeaky-voiced teen, Pimple-faced teen and Old Man Peterson, is one of the few teenagers in Springfield and is perpetually trapped in a series of dead-end jobs. Jeremy has acne and his voice is always in the process of breaking.

Jobs
He is often seen working in a Krusty Burger and has also worked for the Grocery Store and one of the town's movie theatres. He was once an employee at the Mom & Pop Hardware store to try and get with "Mom", him being "Pop". He was also employed at Book Returns[1]
He was in a managerial position at a shoe store, supervising Jimbo, Dolph and Kearney.
He has also worked at Gulp 'n' Blow, Lard Lad Donuts, IRS Burger, Shakespeare's Fried Chicken, TacoMat, Eatie Gourmet's Health Food Store, Kidstown USA, Noiseland Arcade, Springfield Barber College, Springfield Air Show, Springfield War Memorial Stadium, Car Wash, Springfield Googolplex Theatres, Springfield Wax Museum, Springfield International Airport, Monty Burns Casino, Springfield Public Access Channel 3 and Clumsy Student Movers.
For his parking skills at the Springfield Air Show, he received three medals from the USAF.
Personal life
He once tried to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff, because FOX canceled Futurama. He landed in a car in which two teens were making out, crushing one of them. The attractive girl was shocked that he crushed her boyfriend, but then quickly initiated a make-out session with him.
He was also in a relationship with Mom, an employee at the Mom & Pop Hardware store.
When Lindsey Naegle once suggested they "kill every child... friendly thing in town", he temporarily lost his squeaky voice to "become a man".
Family
His mother is Lunchlady Doris, who has disowned him.[2]
Behind the Laughter
Name
Seymour Skinner refers to the character as "Jeremy" in a deleted scene on The Complete Fifth Season DVD. In an episode where the bullies Jimbo, Dolph and Kearney work at a shoe store they refer to him as Mr. Freedman. In "Beware My Cheating Bart", the name on his nametag when working at a store in the Springfield Mall, is "Steve".
