William "Bill" Shatner is a Canadian actor and musician.

History[edit]

When Homer Simpson didn't understand that Krusty the Clown was Jewish, Lisa told him that there were many Jewish entertainers such as Lauren Bacall, Dinah Shore, William Shatner, and Mel Brooks.[1]

Shatner auditioned for the role of Mr. Burns in A Burns for All Seasons.[2]

William Shatner released a cover of "Everybody Hates Ned Flanders".[3]

As part of his campaign to destroy Lisa, Cecil Terwilliger blackmailed Krusty into going off the air with the aid of the nerd trio of Gary, Benjamin, and Doug. As a reward, Cecil gave them tickets to William Shatner's Star Trek Memories: The Musical, starring Richard Hatch from Battlestar Galactica.[4]

When the Simpson family moved to Toronto, Marlon MacSmithers told them that once Bill Shatner was mayor of the player's locker when he showed them the abandoned hockey stadium, which they could stay in until they found an apartment. Lisa told MacSmithers that she thought Shatner was from Montreal. He answered that Montreal was a nickname for Toronto.[5]
