Michael Louis "Mike" Reiss (born September 15, 1959) is an American comedy writer. He currently serves as a producer for The Simpsons and previously served as a writer, co-producer, supervising producer, co-executive producer, executive producer, and consulting producer. He served as the showrunner, along with Al Jean, from season 3 to season 4.
He was also interviewed in The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special – In 3-D! On Ice! and wrote the book Springfield Confidential with Mathew Klickstein.
