"Baby You Can't Drive My Car" is the fifth episode of broadcast season 30 of The Simpsons and the six hundred forty-fourth episode overall. It originally aired on November 4, 2018. The episode was written by Rob LaZebnik and directed by Timothy Bailey. It guest stars Tracy Morgan as the tow truck driver.

Synopsis[edit]
- A self-driving car company comes to Springfield, poaching all of the power plant employees with their fun work environment. Mr. Burns and Waylon Smithers go undercover to figure out what motivated the employees to leave.
Plot[edit]
After buying chicken nuggets from Krusty Burger, Homer drives to work while eating them, risking the life of the Squeaky-Voiced Teen and a band before breaking into Mr. Burns' office at the power plant, breaking the Fabergé chicken, and getting himself fired.
Kent Brockman announces on the news that CarGo is moving to Springfield and offering new jobs, which Homer badly needs after what just happened, so he applies as a tester for the self-driving cars. He goes to the interview, which is run by Antoine and Zora. They like him due to his passiveness and poor driving record and give him the job after he sits around doing nothing for several hours.
Homer quickly grows to like his new job, enjoying that he gets paid for sitting around doing nothing all day, moving around Springfield while the car does the driving. He likes it even more when he finds out that the cafeteria offers free food. He shows Marge around the campus, and together they inspire the programmers to have fun, which increases their creativity. Upon seeing this, Antoine and Zora promote Homer and hire Marge as his partner to keep the employees relaxed. Homer and Marge then get the employees involved in fun activities.
Upon seeing how the new company operates, many employees of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant quit. When they realize the reasons for the resignations, Mr. Burns and Smithers go undercover at CarGo and apply for jobs. As they explore the campus, they realize that the employee benefits and pleasant workplace are the very things lacking at the Power Plant. Meanwhile, Homer and Marge discover that the cars are listening to them and taking them to places they talk about. They confront Antoine and Zora, who reveal that sponsors pay them to get the cars to take users to specific locations.
After a meeting at Moe's, Homer, Mr. Burns, and Smithers break into the server room to shut down the cars. Marge discovers them and tries to get them to stop because she enjoys working at the company. When she realizes they won't stop, she goes to Antoine and Zora to warn them. They are in a meeting discussing their next plan—microphones in the key fobs to listen to customers all the time. Shocked, Marge decides to help shut down the cars.
Back in Burns' office, Homer gets rehired, but their proposal to hire Marge fails. They drive home the old-fashioned way—by using their car, though it's on a tow truck driven by the tow truck driver. Afterward, CarGo starts making talking tattoos to win customers over.
