Homer tried to get his marriage with Amber annulled at court but it was deemed legal. Amber stays with the Simpsons for a while and almost breaks up Homer and Marge. Amber died when she overdosed in front of a sign that said "Don't stand up" on the rollercoaster in a theme park.[3]
