Contents
History
Homer and Ned Flanders went to Las Vegas for the weekend and got drunk, and met two waitresses, named Amber and Ginger, at a restaurant in the Nero's Palace casino. That night, they married those women, who also served them their drinks.[1] Eventually, Amber and Ginger track down their husbands and move in with them. Homer tried to get his marriage with Amber annulled at court but it was deemed legal. Amber stays with the Simpsons for a while and almost breaks up Homer and Marge. The Simpson family trick Amber into marrying Grampa, and in doing so she forsakes all others, breaking her marriage with Homer.[2] She may have also been a waitress at Caesar's Pow-Wow Casino as the Tribal Chief was seen at her funeral.[3]
In Bart's coma dream, Amber Simpson was one of the ghosts who came to Bart to get help to move on to the afterlife.[4]
Death
Amber died when she overdosed in front of a sign that said "Don't stand up" on the rollercoaster in a theme park.[3]
