Chip Davis was a resident of Springfield, who was known as "Springfield's Most Beloved Character That You Never Saw". He was also known as one of the Duffman actors and was known as Sideshow Chip.

History

When Chip died, just about everyone in Springfield attended his funeral, including celebrities Joe Namath and Rachel Maddow. Homer said that he was like a sixth Simpson. Chip also wrote Hans Moleman's biography; Magnificent Bastard: The Lives and Loves of Hans Moleman. He also helped Bumblebee Man deal with the grief after his parents died playing paintball.

Chip said that he had a few regrets; not ascending Mount Springfield from the south face, the high school long jump record he set was wind-aided, he often spoke of that asterisk and he never broke par at hole seventeen at Springfield Mini Golf.
