Paul Shaffer is a Canadian-American musician, actor, author, and comedian.

History[edit]

When the Simpson family arrived in Toronto, there was a plaque at a bus station that said "Birthplace of Paul Shaffer".

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Shaffer is most famous for being David Letterman's talk-show bandleader and sidekick.

The inside cover of the book, The Simpsons: One Step Beyond Forever! contains concept art of various objects from Seasons 13 and 14, including artwork of the sign seen at the bus stop.
