"Smooth" Jimmy Apollo is a cigar-smoking pro-football commentator and statistician on TV.
History[edit]
Jimmy Apollo appeared on Inside Football Today where he was interviewed by Bret Gunselman. Homer watched Jimmy Apollo's predictions for betting. Apollo claimed he got an accuracy rate of 52% and he also used a huge padlock to illustrate his "Lock of the Week" pick. His predictions included:
- Denver Broncos - New England Patriots: Apollo predicted a win for Denver but he missed.
- Cincinnati Bengals - Miami Dolphins: Apollo predicted Miami, with them winning 24-10.[1]
His advantages are being right and not being wrong, while his disadvantages are being wrong and compulsive gamblers that take his advice.[2]
