The Denver Broncos are an American Football team.

Homer watched Smooth Jimmy Apollo while he talked about the day's game between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots. He told the viewers that it was too close to call, but if you were one of those compulsive types that just had to bet, he said you should bet on Denver. Homer then phoned Moe and asked him to bet $20 for him on Denver. During the game, when there were 13 seconds left, New England had seven points and Denver had none. Homer became mad at the announcer when Lisa came into the room. Homer told her that he couldn't hear the announcer. Lisa answered that Denver fumbled.[1]
When the Simpson family was given a new identity, Homer wanted to be John Elway and he started dreaming that he did a touchdown in Super Bowl XXX so the game ended Denver 7, San Francisco 56.[2]
Homer was given the Denver Broncos after working for Globex Corp. in Cypress Creek. Hank Scorpio gave the team to him as a gift for helping with his evil plans, though Homer was somewhat annoyed that he didn't get the Dallas Cowboys like he wanted. They were first seen assembled in the Simpsons' front yard, practicing. The team was shown as being quite uncoordinated, however, dropping passes among other mistakes.[3]
They later played in the Super Bowl.[4]
Homer watched the Pigskin Preview for a game between Green Bay and Denver, where Al said he was going to bet on the Broncos in this game because the Packers would be blinded by Jerry's tie, and the commentary team started to laugh.[5]
Homer watched a game between the Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks when there were 30 seconds left and the Broncos were one point behind. When he told them that they could make it, the game ended with the Broncos winning, and Homer was then mad, as he hadn't bet on them like Professor Pigskin told him to.[6]

Homer later lost the team by using it to pay his debt at Moe's Tavern.[7]
Homer was watching a football game between the Springfield Atoms and the Denver Broncos, which the Atoms won. Snowmer had bet everything on the Denver Broncos.[8]
