Benny Goodman was an American jazz and swing musician and bandleader, who played the clarinet.

History[edit]

When Homer was listening to the radio and an announcer said that FDR is in the White House, an ice cream cone costs a nickel, and a hot new tune by Benny Goodman is hitting the charts, adding that the year is 1939. Homer thought he had travelled back in time, but Carl and Lenny then came in and changed the radio station so it played Men Without Hats, so Homer thought he had traveled back.
