Hugo Simpson I is the son of Howland Simpson and Gabby Crouse. His brothers are Lou, Gaston and "Old Tut" Simpson and his sister is Dulcine Simpson.
History
When Lisa had to do a genealogical research on her family, she found a photo of him and slapped it onto the table in frustration, meaning that he was either a criminal or just a man with a bad reputation.[1]
Behind the Laughter
- Homer's son, Hugo Simpson is named after him. However, Hugo is considered a non-canon character because he appeared in Treehouse of Horror. He appears to look like Bart and Hugo, Jr. but with a beard.
- The only time that he appears other than the Simpson family's book is "The Color Yellow", proving that the book is to an extent canon, as "The Color Yellow" heavily retcons the book's ancestors, replacing his father Howland Simpson with Abraham Simpson I.
