Abigail Simpson was an ancestor of the Simpson family

History[edit]

Lisa asked Grampa if there were any nice ancestors, and he mentioned Abigail and how she was known as "the Pittsburgh Poisoner." A picture of Abigail was also on the table, having been taken from a school yearbook. She appeared to have been part of Mrs. Gragg's class in third grade.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Abigail's appearance was drawn from Pepita Bernstein, who appeared in The Simpsons Uncensored Family Album and was shown to be a distant relative of Mr. Burns, rather than the Simpson family.
