Raoul is a man whom Abraham Simpson met in Miami Beach.

History

When Homer and Marge tried to ditch the kids to be alone together, Bart and Lisa tracked them to the Swelldorado, a hotel in Miami Beach. While the kids went into the hotel to confront their parents, Abe went to the beach to try to pick up single elderly women. After several unsuccessful attempts, Abe came across Raoul, who took an instant interest in him and showed him his nearby penthouse apartment. Raoul then asked Abe to tell one of his endless stories, but surreptitiously turned off his hearing aid as he only wanted to watch Abe's facial features move while he talked.

Personality

Raoul is a smooth-talking and charismatic man. There are a couple of hints that he may be gay. When Abe told Raoul he was in Miami Beach to meet women, Raoul said that women disgusted him. However, he seemed to be physically attracted to Abe, as he said that he liked watching Abe talk and asked Abe if he could place his hand on his shoulder while they walked together on the beach.
