Evelyn is the ex-girlfriend of Patty Bouvier.
History[edit]
After Lou and his sister pulled out of the yearly holiday the Van Houten family held in their villa in Costa Rica, Patty and Evelyn went along instead, much to Homer's horror. At first, Homer and Evelyn acted coldly to each other due to Homer and Patty's distaste for each other. However, during a meal, Homer and Evelyn were both watching the Omaha Cornhole International on their phones. Upon realizing they both enjoyed it, they started to bond due to their many similarities.
The next day, the rest of the attendees decided to go shopping. Homer and Evelyn decided to stay behind at the beach. When everyone returned, they found the villa was a mess and monkeys were everywhere, as Evelyn and Homer had both gotten drunk. After this incident, Marge asked Homer to stop spending time with Evelyn so they could have a decent vacation.
When everyone was on a hike, Homer tried to stay away from Evelyn. However, Evelyn poured some alcohol into Homer's flask and they both got drunk. At a swimming hole, Marge and Homer were trying to take a selfie, when Marge realized that Homer was drunk because of Evelyn. Evelyn then showed off to Homer by diving into the water, which caused Marge's phone to fall into the water and get taken by a fish. At dinner that night, Marge told Patty that Evelyn was a bad influence on Homer and that Evelyn was Patty's Homer.
At some point after the meal, Patty broke up with Evelyn because she could only see Evelyn as Homer. When everyone on holiday went zip-lining, Marge convinced Patty to give Evelyn another chance, because unlike Homer, Evelyn loved Patty, which made Homer and Evelyn different. The two of them then made out on the zip-line.[1]
Evelyn attended the launch event for The Drederick[2] and went on a night cruise with Patty.[3]
After taking Othinquic, Patty got engaged to another woman, implying that she and Evelyn broke up.[4]
Personality[edit]
Evelyn is very similar to Homer in many ways. She enjoys eating, particularly donuts, and likes getting drunk. She also enjoys watching the same sports as Homer, as they both watch cornhole. She also exhibits behaviors similar to Homer, such as diving off a waterfall. When Evelyn and Homer discovered they liked the same things, they began to bond. However, Evelyn also appears to be a bad influence on Homer. She pressured him into drinking, despite Homer promising Marge he wouldn't get drunk. When Evelyn's similarities to Homer were pointed out to Patty, she couldn't accept them and broke up with Evelyn. However, Marge convinced her to reconcile with Evelyn because, unlike Homer, Evelyn loved Patty, while Homer hates Patty.
