History[edit]

At Gavelby's Auction House, Megan Matheson came in to bid on the painting The Poetess, which Homer wanted. She won the painting after outbidding Mr. Burns but when the case containing the painting arrived at her house, the painting was missing, so Duncan, the auctioneer, called in Manacek to find the thief.

Manacek visited Megan to question her about the theft. Megan had insured the painting, which she bought for $15 million, for $30 million. She told Manacek that it was her painting so she wouldn't steal it, but he should go question Mr. Burns as she thought he was the real thief. Megan then went back to her workout, and Manacek offered to give her a "better workout". Megan then told Manacek that she was in a committed relationship with the former Miss Denmark, who had created a breed of mosquito which cured malaria. Manacek told Megan that if her girlfriend invented a cure for commitment, she should let him know.

Manacek eventually figured out that Megan was the thief. She needed the money to keep her girlfriend's research into mosquitoes going. Megan hired the guards identical twins and hired them to rob their own brothers. Megan then pulled a gun out on Manacek but Manacek knocked her out.[1]

Megan was seen in the audience for Kent Brockman's live recording of his podcast Guilty Grampa.[2]
