Larry H. Lawyer, Jr. is a personal injury lawyer who operates in Springfield.

History

He was the lawyer that Homer used to sue the First Church of Springfield, after falling into a hole and breaking his leg. Homer was his first client that had actually been injured and according to his book, The Law, that's a big plus. Dr. Nick Riviera was also a client of Larry's. Larry had apparently got him $60,000 even though Dr. Nick was driving drunk through a graveyard.[1]

Larry H. Lawyer helped Bart sue a comic book company over a coupon in an old comic book. The coupon promised a free comic book, but when Bart sent it in, he got only an insulting letter in return. On reading the letter, Bart said (out loud) that he was so mad he could sue. Larry happened to be driving by, overheard Bart, and offered his services.[2]

Behind the Laughter

Larry H. Lawyer, Jr. is loosely based on Larry H. Parker, a personal injury lawyer who frequently advertises on television.[3]

Larry H. lawyer's license plate is LV-426 same as the planet the first two Alien films are set in.[2]
