The Sad-looking Frenchman is a member of the Lost Souls, a group of world-weary individuals who wander the seven seas on the The Ship of Lost Souls trying to forget their tragic pasts.

History

After the man in dinner jacket told his story, the sad-looking Frenchman said that he would have killed Dinkley, the man who banned the man in dinner jacket from the car wash, for what he did. The Frenchman then told Homer to tell his story. After Homer told his story of how he left his father at the hospital rather than give him a kidney, the Frenchman was appalled, and said that Homer disgusted him, even though he had stolen his accordion from a blind monkey. The Lost Souls then threw Homer overboard.[1]
