History

Laura and her mother Ruth moved into the house next door when The Winfields moved out. Marge and Ruth became fast friends; so did Laura and Bart. After Laura told Bart's fortune, he developed a crush on her, but ended up in heartbreak when he found out she was in love with Jimbo Jones. Eventually, Laura decided that Jimbo was no good for her and said that she would date Bart if he were a little older: "If you had a bad teenage moustache, I'd go out with you in a second."[1] Bart hasn't seen Laura again since then, but he has gotten over her (as he has with all of his past girlfriends).

Like her mother Ruth, Laura took up bodybuilding. Unlike Ruth, Laura did not use steroids, and ended up in better shape then Ruth did.Citation needed

Laura appears to be no longer living with her mother, but still lives in Springfield. Near the end of the Trappuccino incident, she was seen throwing rocks at Homer when he returned to town.[2]

Laura and her mother seemed to have moved to Detroit after Springfield fell victim to the Financial Crisis, and their house is later occupied by a disguised Sideshow Bob.[3]
