The Ranger was a ranger at Mt. Useful.

History

He told Marge that Mt. Useful was not fun due to budget cutbacks.

Marge later came to him at the Mt. Useful Visitors Center as she had lost Bart and Lisa. He took Marge on the chairlift to get an eagle eye view of the forest on the mountain and spotted them straight away but had to wait until they got to the top to get off.

He later comes to the Ranger Lookout Post with Marge, Bart and Lisa and asks where Ranger McFadden is as the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant employees are in the post. He then realizes that the only other cabin has been buried under snow.

When he starts to dig Homer and Mr. Burns out of the Mt. Useful cabin, he tells Bart and Lisa that Homer will be just fine, before he tells the other rangers to put on their corpse handling gloves as there are two frozen bodies to get out.
