Mitch Hartwell is a reality TV producer who works for The Reality Channel. His idea of original thinking is flipping through other TV channels.
History[edit]
He created the show The 1895 Challenge, which he actually saw on Dutch television and merely tweaked the title. He then signed up the Simpsons to take part in the challenge because the Cosbys failed to impress, and the executives wanted "a family that hasn't been on TV forever."
He tours the Simpsons around the house they stay in, showing them the various rooms and important items inside (like the video camera for doing confessionals) before leaving.
