Hapalap apparently had a penchant for using bad language and cussing out his fellow soldiers whenever he doesn't get his way (such as another soldier using his restroom), to which Sideshow Bob used to his advantage to gain access to a Nuclear Warhead Storage Facility within the base and steal one of the nukes.[1]

He was among the people who gave advice to Lisa when she had gum in her hair.[2]
