He was Homer's mechanic. However, when he found out Homer was behind his father's death, he decided to kill Homer. But after his first attempt on Homer's life, the Simpsons and the police hired [[Sideshow Bob]] to protect him, on the principle of 'sending a homicidal maniac to catch a homicidal maniac'. After a 2nd try, Grimes entered many cards with Homer's name on them into the Mardi Gras King election. When Homer was elected King, Grimes sabotaged the parade float on which he was to ride in. At the last minute, Bob saved Homer after realizing the truth. The two cornered Grimes, who admitted the truth and was arrested by police.

Frank Grimes, Jr., better known as Junior, is the son of Frank Grimes and an enemy of Homer Simpson, as he was the indirect cause of his father's death.

Biography[edit]

Homer Simpson is subject to several murder attempts. Sideshow Bob is roped in to help him find the perpetrator, who is revealed to be Frank Grimes, Jr. He was Homer's mechanic, but no-one knew of his true lineage until he revealed it to them (upon being cornered).

He is an illegitimate child; his dad "happened to like hookers", and one of them gave birth to him. Homer killed his father by driving him insane, so Junior was trying to avenge his death. He also becomes more infuriated in each passing moment he shares with Homer (just like his father).

With all his assassination attempts foiled, Junior was arrested and led away by the Springfield Police (on stilts). He said that he must kill Homer.[1]

Homer was framed by Mr. Burns for dealing nuclear weapons and arrested. He was cellmates with Sideshow Bob, and they escaped from jail by going through a tunnel in a cell occupied by a masked prisoner. The three fell into Mr. Burns' secret lair, where the mysterious prisoner was revealed to be Grimes. Sideshow Bob then fell on him and both were knocked unconscious. Homer was cleared of his charges whilst Bob and Grimes were presumably sent back to prison.[2]
