Geoff Jenkins is the creator of Danger Dog, the title character of the Danger Dog cartoon series. He spoke at an assembly at Springfield Elementary School.

History

Springfield Elementary had Kirk Van Houten in to speak at an assembly, and it went very badly as Kirk was unimpressive as a public speaker and the kids were all bored by what he had to say. Lisa suggested that the school have someone who the kids would be interested in speak at an assembly, and the school invited Geoff Jenkins.

Jenkins proved to be a far better speaker than Kirk. The kids were not only interested in the Danger Dog cartoon itself, but also spellbound by Jenkins' presentation, such as when he shared an in-joke about the cartoon: In a scene where a villain's ray made all the dogs in town vomit, Jenkins pointed out that the solid chunks of vomit were actually the faces of the cartoon's production crew.

Jenkins was such a big hit that he influenced many of the kids to make rip-offs of Danger Dog, and Bart to make Angry Dad.
